Summary: Read how our network protects gamers from Internet slow-downs at peak-times.

Our traffic management system lets us give priority to online games, and other time-sensitive Internet activities. The system recognises many popular online games and makes sure you get the best possible gaming experience on our network. Read more about how traffic management works.

The list of games which our system recognises is always growing. You can find the List of defined games in our Community Site Gaming Forum.

If you are having a problem with a game that's not listed there, you can ask for a game be added to our system's database. To do this go to the Help Assistant and choose this path:

My Broadband Connection > Broadband Gaming > Adding a game to our traffic management system.

When you raise your ticket, please give us this information:

  • The name of the game
  • The ports it uses
  • The IP address of a main gaming server used by the game

It's worth noting that the majority of Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network games are not listed separately as they tend to use the same ports and servers.
